A long while ago I had some drumming lessons on my Djembe, great fun, but I can’t remember any of the basics, but I’m recording and listening to everything in a different way so thought it would be ideal to get some low booming noises recorded.

For a start I had to turn the input level down really low! But once I had that sorted it was easy to record.

On listening to it, it kind of sounds woody and the boom I was after is a bit lacking, this might be something to take into the studio to really capture what I want to hear…
