After hearing Matt Isherwoods presentation “The state of wearable tech” at Hot Source last week I was again quite surprised not to hear the mention of the Sony Smartwatch. You always hear of the new apple watch, that isn’t even out yet, or the samsung version and the pebble, but…

Dubai 360 http://dubai360.com/ This amazing project is employing 360 timelapse imagery into interactive experiences available from anywhere in the world.  (a project launched by Sheikh Hamdan back in August) Fascinating… Dubai360 was shot with four perfectly synchronized Canon 1Dx cameras. There are a few different ways to use gesture to control, rather than a physical button pressing controller. The Leap Motion is a lovely little device, and promises much.     I wanted to see if it could deliver it’s claim of a new way of interacting with the world.…

Playing with the 3-D clay printer at work, it’s taken a lot of experimentation to get this close to success, but we’re getting there . Watch until the end to see something I need to fix. (G28 iykyk) 👀 #ceramics #pottery #clayprinting Little bit of throwing today, hoping they will be ready for the ceramics market in November. Bud vases are just so cute and these are going to look lovely with my fave combo of indigo float, and adding some pink and purple glazes in the mix too! #colourfulpots #ceramics #norwichmaker After I first started making these tall neck vases I had to figure out a way to trim the bottoms, so got inventive and used some of my own pots and a reusable mug for the really tall fellows and it works pretty well, even if it does look somewhat dodgy 🙈#pottery #getcreative #worksforme 😁 Just a small - but fantastically gorgeous - glaze firing including my hand painted flying swift blue porcelain beakers, the Sally patch mugs and some pink and purple ones plus a special appearance of a pretty purple teapot ( I don’t make them very often) Enjoy! #pottery #wheelthrown #makeitbright To everyone that came along to my little studio, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou 😊 It was a pleasure to be able to take time and talk about my ceramics to such a wide variety of lovely people! I am still truly humbled when one of my pieces finds a new forever home 🫶👏 #pottery #openstudio NorwichArtScene #goldentriangleopenstudios Today and tomorrow are the last days of the lovely golden triangle Open Studios! Come and see wonderful artists in their working studios, right on your doorstep. Be great to see you 🤩 @goldentriangleopenstudios #pottery #artists #norwich
