I remember this 🤣 What better way to celebrate New Year 🤩 Getting back on the wheel is lovely, not making it easy for myself and hoping to get a trio of bud vase shapes that can be a set, the intention is to Raku and use decoration, as well as shape to tie them together. The last thrown shape went so wobbly, not quite sure why, but when I was cleaning up I slapped it with my sponge as well to add to its woes 🤪 Don’t think that one is going to make it! #pottery #wheelthrown #playwithclay #happynewyear

I’ve had a great year with my pottery this year, pushed myself to try tricky techniques, attended a crazy intense pottery camp, done my first ever Raku firing and I’ve got just one more craft fair to get ready for. Hoping to give my pots new homes - leaving my shelves bare and ready for refilling 😊. There will definitely be more Raku and trying more sculptural pieces, but I cannot wait to get back on the wheel.
